Gina, the heroine of the book, has done a lot of things in her life. She's an ex-cop, ex-con and current government secret agent. She has plenty of scars from the past and enough strength to have survived them. So when rival agent Cal Spencer orders her out of "his" investigation, emotions intensify and sparks fly. But they are stuck on an island with a host of criminals and their weapons of mass destruction that could change the world as we know it. There is a lot of tension in this book as Gina and Cal are fighting not only the enemy, but their own attraction for each other as well. Cal who is at home in England's high society, doesn't quite know how to handle this fiery American. His orders are to do whatever is necessary to succeed with his mission, eliminating anyone who stands in his way. I loved "watching" these two fall in love.
