Saffady is managing to keep up with the ever-changing technology field. This latest edition is a survey of the current applications being used in libraries. Although details are given to hardware and software issues, the second half of the book is devoted to the "needs" of the library. Reference, circulation, and cataloging are all covered here, with attention given to the users of the library. This book would be for anyone who is planning a new automation system, or who are thinking about updating current applications.
