The authors start with the Fourier series and progress step-by-step from CTFT, DTFT, discrete Fourier transform (DFT) to the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT). Spectrum analysis using both the Parseval's and the Wiener-Khintchine-Einstein theorems of power estimation are discussed.
