I got this book wanting to learn more about Irish cooking, food culture, and history and this book didn’t disappoint. It’s not a an in depth book mind you, it gently covers most topics but it does include info about regional foods, the history of food in Ireland, and how food was used and enjoyed there. It satisfied my hopes for this book. The recipes are great, some I won’t try (mussels, ew) but many that are now a staple in our house. Highly recommend if you want to start experimenting with Irish cooking!
