Can Dreams Really Come True?Ana Finch is a proper librarian who has always lived quietly and safely. Then an accident at a wedding changes everything, and, as if compelled by a force of nature, she picks up and moves to Denver, a city she has never even visited. There she encounters architect Pierce Rourke, who has created an island exclusively for celebrating glorious weddings. Will his belief in love and dreams extend itself only to the lives of others? Or will this unlikely couple find a way to triumph over destiny?

Island of Dreams is one of the best books I've read. I was completely drawn in by the story and loved the way the characters lives were intertwined. Ms. Stone's style is very unique, and, given some of the comments below, it's obvious that either you love it -- or don't. I do!

An emotionally powerful story of many kind of love -- father/son, father/daughter, mother/daughter, uncle/niece, friend/friend...and woman/man. Wonderful reading on many levels.
