Praise for The Lost Ones: "Utterly compelling, rich with voice and psychological insight, populated with heartbreakingly real characters, The Lost Ones will stay with you for a long, long time after you finish the last page. Perhaps forever."--Jeffery Deaver
Reading the synopsis I was intrigued how this one would play out. We have a very complicated and complex character Nora Watts who is trying to come to terms with her dark and painful past, she's a strong no nonsense character, however I didnr feel an attachment to her while reading. I believe this is partly because there is a previous book which I have not read and had made this one confusing to get through.
The writing style was okay, but the plot was too slow paced for what claims to me a thriller. I enjoyed the ending and certain seems that were written very well.
I might check out the first book as they were parts of this that I really liked And I'd like more of a back story on one the characters in here.
Loved it

'It all falls down' is a great book, that follows the complex main character, Nora in her mysterious and seemingly hopeless search for answers to her biological fathers death, and Brazuca her AA sponser/private detective trying to turn over a new leaf. It was well wrote, I loved every part of it, and it just kept getting better and better. The characters were well developed with plenty of their own issues to make this a real page turner. There were so many twists and tales im the plot, that I couldn't help but read on. I hope there'll be a sequel to this book, I want to read more about the characters, and more from the author, I would definitely recommend this book to a friend, fantastic read!
