The whole family will giggle and gasp as they follow this lively extension of the classic Mother Goose nursery rhyme we all know and love. With the charm of the original poem, this picture book version brings the song alive as readers follow the delightful story beyond the well-known verses of the original and into explorations of all kinds of weather. Colorful and exuberant watercolors make six witty new verses dance with sunny humor. Kids will follow along, read along, and even sing along. This is sure to be a favorite for young and old alike.
One of my favorite silly song books for children. My granddaughters all loved this book and it became one of their favorites..Great words about weather conditions, cute pictures. Highly recommend for 2 to 4 year olds. They'll sneak a peak at older ages too!

I teach Kindergarten and this is one of my kiddos FAVORITE books! I have 20 students singing this book with me and the illustrations are FABULOUS! It is a great book to go back and discover which season the illustrator has drawn and re-read the text to verify which season. my students love this so much that a copy is in the classroom library for the students to enjoy and one is at my teaching easel for easy access. You will fall in love with the illustrator.

With repeated readings, the strange rhymes in this book have become a fixture in our home. Our 20 month-old loved it immediately, mostly because the illustrations are terrific. And just try reading it without singing! We've since bought other paperbacks from Whispering Coyote Press (see Iza Tapini) that are just as popular with our little guy. He prefers realistic drawings with good detail, and these deliver. They are also very well produced, with a glossy finish highlighting parts of the artwork and sturdy paper.
