Everyone who takes, administers and especially worries about standardized tests should read this chapter book which focuses on a little boy named Tiger dealing with a sensitive issue about how to mark the form on the test about his "race". Tiger who is bi-racial, is in conflict when his teachers decide for him what race he should mark on the test form. While the book is not of the highest literary quality, it does have an important message and relevant theme that many students could relate to especially those in highly diverse classrooms. Since there are so few easy to read books on helping kids deal with test stress and anxiety I would absolutely include this one.
