An instant New York Times bestseller--from the award-winning author of the Graceling Realm series--about adventure, grief, storytelling, and finding yourself in a world of seemingly infinite choices.A wild gift for readers who like books that take them to unexpected places.--Melissa Albert, author of The Hazel Wood Jane has lived a mostly ordinary life, raised by her recently deceased aunt Magnolia, whom she counted on to turn life into an adventure. Without Aunt Magnolia, Jane is lost. So she's easily swept away when a glamorous, capricious, and wealthy acquaintance from years ago asks Jane to accompany her to a gala at the extravagant island mansion called Tu Reviens. Jane remembers her aunt telling her: If anyone ever invites to you to Tu Reviens, promise me that you'll go. What Jane doesn't know is that the house will offer her five choices that could ultimately determine the course of her life. One choice leads Jane into a heist mystery. Another takes her into a spy thriller. She finds herself in a gothic horror story, a space opera, and an extraordinary fantasy realm. She might fall in love, she might lose her life, she might come face-to-face with herself. Every choice comes with a price. But together, all the choices will lead her to the truth. One house. Five choices. Limitless possibilities. Read Jane, Unlimited and remember why The New York Times has raved, Some authors can tell a good story; some can write well. Cashore is one of the rare novelists who do both.
Come for the mystery stay for the brilliant writing

It’s been a long time since I’ve been blown away by a book but this story I could never predict what was going to happen next and each storyline felt more satisfying than the next. So familiar and yet so unique. I love a good mystery and I saw this book in a recommended reading list after I read the inheritance games which had left me unsatisfied.
Each twist and turn of Jane Unlimited made me excited for the next and yet needing to reflect. It’s not hard to read but the author is extremely intelligent and leaves many small clues using seemingly unimportant descriptions. Highly recommend this book for anyone looking for a mystery that dips its toe into many other genres and explores the truest mystery- what does it mean to be yourself.
Superbly written, a very heartfelt story.

If I could take any book with me into a parallel universe, it would be this one.
The many marvelous adventures Jane takes make me want to join her in a heartbeat.
An enticing tale full of unexpected twists and turns

Jane, Unlimited takes you by the hand and pulls you head-first into its intricate story where you will watch Jane make a monumental decision again and again like the leaves of a flower opening in the sunlight and then curling shut in the dark. All the characters, while seemingly unrealistic at moments, continue to be fully fleshed out and grow right before you eyes. This is a book you won't be able to put down--and one you won't be able to resist rereading.
