I thought there would be actual authentic patterns to cross stitch. Instead there are teddy bear designs with made up very corny verses.

This is one of the best books I've come across for Native American cross stitching. The patterns are easy to follow and have many options. I recommend this to anyone interested in cross stitching Native American designs.

This book is full of designs that cover a variety of the Indian tribes and contains key information as why particular colors were chosen or the significance of a motif. I have several designs in the book started and cannot wait to finish them. Easy to read charts with the colors to help guide along make many of the projects come alive off the page as you are working.
