"John, Paul, George & Ringo" minutely traces the meteoric rise of the Beatles from 1960 to 1970, with detailed timelines of their day-to-day activities, fascinating photographs (many exceedingly rare), penetrating biographies of everyone associated with the spread of Beatlemania, and contemporary excerpts from London's influential "Daily Mail." This exhaustive record, which closely follows the four young lads as they rose from Liverpool obscurity to become universally acknowledged titans of pop music, is the most comprehensive account of the history of the Beatles ever published.
I am a Beatles fan, I have been since I was in the womb thanks to my mother. Over the many years that have passed I have collected many biographies and such books on The Beatles. My library is overstuffed with Beatles books, including the guiant hardcover 'Anthology' book which I still reference from time to time. When I saw this book at such a low price I decided to pick one up. This book is also a giant, in fact this book has more pages than the Anthology book and it's filled with amazing photos, awesome information (that even I learned somethings new from), and a format that is the best for referencing over and over. Now this book is even cheaper than when I first purchased it. Everyone should be stocking this is their Beatle library.
