"Nice narrative, but there are better books on Joseph"

This is a well-done narrative, but the author does not take a great deal of time exploring the lessons from Joseph's life that we can all utilize in becoming successful. As storytelling goes, Traylor is peerless. She can keep your attention when the storyline drifts. Unfortunately for Traylor however, the Joseph story commands the reader's attention on its own, and deserves a closer look beneath the surface. I enjoyed this work, however I would strongly recommend the reader (try to) locate "With Joseph in the University of Adversity (the Mizraim Principles)". This author gleans over thirty great life-principles from Joseph, and better offers more in-depth analysis into this wonderful Bible hero!

This easy-reading Historical Fiction is great for all readers. It takes you into the life of Joseph, from the time he was a little boy, through the trials with his brothers and Pharaoh, to the time when God lifts him up as King. A great book, based on bibical truth.
