My husband and I were driving to the East Coast to visit our daughter and new son-in-law. I bought this book at the Notre Dame bookstore. The title caught my eye, as I am always trying to find the joy in my life. I loved the premise of this book which was stated in the preface. As a Christain society, we spend a great amount of time with Lent and Easter Sunday and then promptly forget the Message of resurrection and redemption. I loved the variety of poems, spiritual readings, and artwork in this book. I read from the book to my husband while he was driving and we shared some time in 'morning inspiration'. It was lovely. We're not as 'sappy' as this sounds; I think we turned the NCAA ballgame on shortly after, but it spoke to our spirits at this time.
