We meet Freddie Burns, a former 1940s singer who was present at the beginning of country music and was there at the beginning of the career of Jimmie Rodgers. He rubbed shoulders with stars like Hank Williams, Bill Monroe and of course Elvis Presley. The well-known author/astrologer Paul F. Newman tells us the incredible story of Bill Haley's song 'Thirteen Women' on the A side, which was supposed to be the resounding hit...on the 'flip' side, yes, Rock Around The Clock Blues and Gospel singers Kid Thomas and Mahalia Jackson remind us of the influence of black American music. There are great articles on country music with George Jones and Eddie Noack, and many others. We cover the preview of the national release of the Elvis stamp and other surprises. The name given to this book is a tribute to Freddie Burns, who at the age of 101 (now deceased) had no hesitation in answering my questions.
