Dan Zanes, you rock my world.

Ok you rock my world and that of my 3 year old! This is a beautifully illustrated book with a rockin' CD sampler of Zanes' music. While my little guy listens to Dan Zanes from morning to night it's great to have a companion book for us to make our own music, to sing, and of course to Jump Up!

Everyone in my family loves Dan Zanes. My children adore this book and CD set (as well as the Hello, Hello book and CD set). It makes a great gift for a young child, and the parents will like it too!

It is such a treat to meet Dan Zanes for the first time, regardless of your age. While his music truly is the definition of family fun, his books make his music accessible to even the youngest of his listeners. Jump Up! is the second of his collaboration with his brother-in-law, Donald Saaf (a genius in his own genre), and is wonderful in every way. If you are looking for a baby shower or new baby gift, this book is it. If you are looking for a holiday gift for a young child, this book is it. If you want to give a special treat, this book is it. I bought 5 copies of the book when it was first published, and gave them out as gifts within weeks. This book and accompanying CD are gems. The only better gift would be to buy a new family Dan's entire works!

If you want to feel good, if you like to sing and dance with your kids, this book is for you. His music is fabulous and is totally enhanced with the vibrant illustration in ths book, a perfect sequel to "Hello Hello". The songs on the included cd are a thrill as they are not duplicates of songs available on other Dan Zanes cd's. Both the music and illustration are as enjoyable for a child as they are for an adult. I can't help but Jump Up!!!!
