Isaac Asimov's 21st Century Library of the Universe draws upon the wit, enthusiasm, and enormus number of facts about space found in previous editions of Library of the Universe. Also included is substantially updated information to keep young astronomers in step with current details about the universe.
If I have any complaint, it's that Asimov didn't live well into his 80s and update this books. It was written in 1973, before the rings of Jupiter were discovered. It's sad that so many of Dr. Asimov's great works on astronomy are outdated, as they are true classics. This book talks about the atmosphere, moons, size and other features of Jupiter, but the highlight has to be Asimov's descriptions of what it would be like to look out from each of Jupiter's inner moons.
