I've recommended Andy Griffiths before (he is not to be confused with a certain sheriff from Mayberry), but I feel like I should include this book for parents of fourth-sixth grade boys who have no interest in reading. I read this book to boys who have never opened a book voluntarily, and I discover the boys weeks later have memorized pages! Yes, this book is not going to win any literary awards, but if it gets a boy into reading there is a greater chance that that boy will try to read a book that has won a literary award. I highly recommend this book for teachers and parents who have reluctant readers, especially boys. To find this book and other cool short book recommendations, go to [...]

I liked Just Disgusting because the first chapter was 101 disgusting things. And the 100th was the funniest of them all. It was completely disgusting. This book is about a bunch of disgusting and funny stories. One of the stories was about somebody not wanting to eat brussel sprouts. He tried to hide it under his chicken bones but his mother saw him. Then he tried to go to the bathroom but his sister said that he was just going to throw it out, so he accidentally ate it. It was a funny story. I would recommend this book.
He actually enjoys reading this book!

My nine year old nephew would rather do anything other than read. This is one book he actually enjoys reading. When we do our daily reading he watches the clock. This book is so disgusting he can't put it down. He even reads this one by himself when he thinks no one is watching. So if you are looking for a book to hold a boys attention this is the one!
A funny book for all.

I thought this book was a very enjoyable short read. This book has many themes the main theme being that boys get up to no good and like doing pranks. The book covers a whole lot of topics like 101 disgusting things to how to make a cake were you can choose the ending were one out of the two endings he dies. The book is a funny laugh for all and a nice reed if you want some ideas for pranks.
