If you have watched any of Jill Bearup's Fantasy Heroine series on YouTube, you are already familiar with Caroline and Rosamund. Having watched the whole series, I already knew most of the major beats in Rosamund's story, but the novel had more of her story and much more of Caroline's story outside of her interactions with her characters.
