Elisabeth Levy was born in Switzerland in 1927, earned her R.N. and immigrated to the USA in 1958. After touring the country working in different hospitals, she ended up in San Francisco at the dermatology office of Dr. S. William Levy and subsequently married her beloved Dr. Bill. The two worked together until he died in 2005. Elisabeth always enjoyed writing. In 2007, she published her first booklet, Destiny, the story of her paraplegic friend Simone, based on translated text and interviews conducted in Switzerland over several years. Other books followed. Elisabeth has regularly contributed to annual anthologies for the Oakmont Writers Group and Varenna Writers. After a full life of experiences and travels, of family and friends, of laughter and tears, this will be her last book. To her readers she says, as always, "Carry on!"
