Steampunk Fun

This was a fun little jaunt in the genre. It was good enough to give to a friend to read once I was finished, not so good that I felt possessive and couldn't pass it on. The storyline is interesting, with a mix of characters and world-building that worked nicely together. I just saw that it's actually the first in a series, and I'll definitely pick up the second book to see where we go from here. As a side note, I found it interesting and pretty great when I read that the author based her African American U.S. Marshall on an actual person, Bass Reeves if I remember correctly. Look him up, he's pretty interesting.
