Karen loves talking on the phone, chatting with her friends and calling 900 numbers to hear jokes and her horoscope. But she finds herself in a mess when the phone bill arrives! Baby-sitters Little... This description may be from another edition of this product.
I read this book when I was in elementary school and it was pretty good. Karen constantly hogs the phone and forgets to deliver messages, plus she sneaks calls to horoscope and Joke hotlines (900 numbers) and she gets in big trouble for hiding the phone bill. Karen got what she deserved being grounded from the phone and paying her dad back for all these 900 phone numbers. Karen did the right thing by keeping calm and calling for help when Kristy cut her hand and went in shock. She was baby-sitting, so Karen had to take action and keep Emily from being scared. For all the mishaps Karen gets into, she was a hero. i give this book a 10.
