Perhaps the fact that the author lives right next door to the place whereof she writes has something to do with the wonderful flavor of this historical mystery. A wonderful blend of mysticism, medieval settings and intrigue make this story about the abbey at Beverley, England a great read for lovers of period mystery & romance.
