Sora, Goofy, and Donald Duck travel throughout worlds in hopes of protecting everyone from Maleficent and her hordes of the Heartless with the power of the Keyblade. Along the way, they're making new friends, learning new fighting techniques, and finding new clues about Maleficent's evil plans to conquer the worlds.
This is a very good manga adapation of the video games, though, of course, many parts have been shortened in order to keep the story flowing. Sora's adventures in the well-known worlds of Disney continue as he, Donald Duck, and Goofy, travel to Agrabah and the Olympus Coliseum. And you know who lives in these two worlds, right? Sora's appearance (especially his facial expressions) is a bit childish in parts compared to the video games, but that doesn't detract from his personality that stays the same throughout. Also, it's nice to see the 2D Disney characters again (I was hoping that the characters from "The Lion King" would appear, but they don't until Kingdom Hearts II.). Anyway, this is a real treat, and if you don't have a Playstation 2 but desperately want to know what Kingdom Hearts is all about, then this manga is for you.
Another Awesome Book

Kingdom Hearts By: Shiro Amano This is the second part of the Kingdom Hearts series. This book immediately pics up where the last one left off, in Agrabah. The gang continues on and fight more heartless and seals off more worlds using the Keyholes and the Keyblade. While on their journey, they encounter even more Disney favorites and familiar Final Fantasy faces. This book ends on the Coliseum World. I give this book a 10/10.
Better to just play the game.

A re-hash of the cut-scenes from the game. "Safe" for kids. Maybe if these are popular enough they will provide new stories later.

I decided to pick up this after playing the game and I couldn't find volume 1. I really thought that it was good and I also liked the fact that they threw some comday in it to. I really liked the way the drew the charecters too the artist rulz! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is beacuse there needed to be more action! Anyway If you liked the chian of memeriors game which is really mostly what this volume sticks too you will probley like it. Don't foget to keep on reading manga!
An enjoyable manga adaptation of Kingdom Hearts.

This is the second in the four part Kingdom Hearts manga, which retells the video game's story in manga form. In his continuing search for his friends Riku and Kairi, Sora, who now wields the Keyblade, returns to Traverse Town with Donald and Goofy. There, he finally encounters Riku again, but something has changed, and Riku then disappears again. Determined not to give up, Sora and his new friends continue on in their travels between worlds. They go to Agrabah, where Sora meets Aladdin, Jasmine, and Genie, and must defeat the evil Jafar, and then to Olympus Coliseum, where they encounter Hercules, the villainous Hades, and Cloud (from Final Fantasy VII). I think this manga has a very fun and cute art style and I enjoyed the many humorous moments. Overall this series will probably appeal more to Kingdom Hearts fans than manga fans, so I'd recommend it mostly to fans of the game.
