Perfect Bedtime Book!

My daughter loves to knock on the doors in this book and turn the pages. The interaction keeps her engaged in the story and helps her understand how to use a book by starting at the first page and moving on to the next (in other books she sometimes skips around). Super cute illustrations and story are great at bedtime!
Fun illustrations and rhymes

My kids love the playful rhymes in this story, which has opportunities for color recognition and counting. The repetition is great for my son who is an emerging reader. He loves the fact that he can read most of this book to his preschool age sister.

This book by a famous Swedish children's book author, Mary-Clara Tidholm, features different colored doors that the parent or child can "knock" on and then open, to find many new worlds full of furry creatures living at home behind the differently colored doors. Preschool children will like the surprise, and repetition, as well as helping to name the colors of the doors and the animals living within.
