La Reine Morte is one of the most beautiful play I've seen since a long time. It tells the story of Inès de Castro, Don Ferrante and Don Pedro. Ferrante is the king of Portugal (I think...) and his son Pedro, who will rule the country after him, is suppose to marry the princess Isabelle. But he is madly in love with Inès and marries her without his father's consent. So the King must choose: accept Inès and see all his hopes for the country destroy, or kills her... It's extremely well written and very complex. The characters are beautiful and interesting. I ardently recommend it!
