This is the eighth book about Larryboy, everyone's favorite super-cucumber. (Really, how many of them do you know?) Anyway, this book centers on not letting your fear control you. (Note to parents: this does not send the message that it's bad to be afraid.) So, the plot is an "Abominable Trashman" is terrorizing everyone in Bumblyburg. They are so frighented of him, that they will do everything he says. Meanwhile, Larry the Janitor, is struggling with the decision whether to tell Vicki (who, like him, is a cucumber, only a girl. See something coming here?) that he is, in fact, Larryboy! Personally, I loved this book. Larryboy is, as always, adorable, fumbling around, trying to save the day, and ending up making things worse. I loved the fact that the "villian" controling the Abominable Trashman was Awful Alvin. He's my favorite of all the super-villians. (Especially watch the way he treats his, uh, helper.) Anyway, I hope this encourages you to go out and read this book. Oh, by the way, this book is Christian, but that doesn't bother me. (I am, too.) Anyway, it's not preachy, but it does teach a good message. Enjoy!
