One of the police officers is Juan Vucetich, a Croatian immigrant who designed an innovative method: dactyloscopy -or fingerprinting- that makes it possible to unequivocally identify a person by the unique relief of the papillary ridges of the fingers. If they were able to solve such a dreadful crime using this procedure, Argentina would take the geopolitical lead with this revolutionary achievement, a gift for the administration of many countries.
