Much of Emma Straub’s work are sweet stories that don’t seem to have much of a story line other than following the characters through their existence, and this is no different. This tale follows a country girl turned Hollywood actress through her lifespan. Definitely makes you realize how fast life goes and how valuable your time is. Not entirely a light read, though; this book made me cry three times. Would still recommend!
