Wonderful, Useful Book

This is a wonderful and useful introduction to math and mathematical reasoning for pre-schoolers. Most importantly, my three-year-old son had fun with it, and found the colorful pictures throughout the book very engaging. Counting, matching, writing numbers one through ten, learning the use of "long" and "short", simple calculations, and other concepts are covered. At the top of each page is a small tag for parents telling them what the page is trying to teach. This is also a great book for helping children learn to follow instructions. Highly recommended for parents of pre-schoolers!

This is not just a math book, but contains a lot of activities like matching, and mazes. With lots of colorful counting, adding, numerical sequence, and other math functions done in a fun and playful way this is a great book for home school or to supplement a traditional school program.
