This book has to be the best of all 'first' books I have seen/bought. Many pages of extremely bright and colourful 'firsts', the book is made up of actual photographs of everything. It covers the basics - ABC's, 123's and shapes - including hearts and stars, but it also covers so much else - short & tall, patterns such as spirals, fat and thin. Every page if packed full of photos - there is so much to learn about. It is an absolute joy to read - my 4yo learnt so much from it...
