There are a lot of materials out there for growing up christian children but this is by far the best there is. But first I would recommend that to reap the most from this book, do it in a group setting with a leader. This is not to say that parents cannot glean much from doing it by themselves but the most can be gleaned from doing it with ohers on a weekly basis using all the materials and having others input. I cannot say which chapter is most helpful because they all build on each other and by the time you are finished with the course you feel like you are really prepared to be the best parents you can be to those precious children that the Lord entrusted to you. And even if this is not your first child, please do the course anyway. OH, and if I can recommend - start a Grandparents class - afterall, they are a big part of growing up the children also!
