liberation of lystra

As the final book in the first Annals of Lystra, "Liberation" challenges the senses, and gives a surreal feeling to the reader. The imagery and incredible accounts of what happens to Roman and Deirdre are incredible, and it had me laughing, crying, and hitting the couch as I read. With a very surprising ending, and an unbelievable plot, "Liberation" is a perfect final touch to this series. Something to keep in the back of your mind is the fact that the original title was "High Lord of Lystra," which begs the question, "Who is the true High Lord of Lystra?" There are many possibilities presented; many contenders for that position, but only one High Lord will be the victor.
