Are you grieving? Do you know someone who is? Rev. Cooke's Life After Death contains insights from God's Word and personal reflections from those who have walked the road you may now be walking. These insights will be a source of strength, comfort, and valuable information to assist you in your journey. In Life After Death, you will find comfort for a grieving heart. Topics covered in this powerful book include: The stages of grief and recovery Ways to deal with guilt, denial, and anger God's role in, and His perspective on, death The reality of heaven and the certainty of an afterlife Practical ways to minister to the bereaved
I'm only about 1/2 way through this book but have found a lot of comfort and understanding in its pages. My brother recently lost his 26 year old pregnant wife to an anurysm. Our family is very tight-knit and we want to be there for him but really can't fully comprehend what he is going through. A young person passing is so difficult to accept and this book does a great job explaining everything from what happens when we die to the stages of grief, there is even a chapter that talks about when youth die. It has helped me to better understand what my brother is going through as well as help me through my own grief. I feel like my review isn't doing the book justice, but if you are looking for a good Christian book on grieving this book is a great one.

I lost my husband less than 3 weeks ago. I'm still in the early stages of grief, but this book is a life saver. I have not finished reading, but I take it a chapter at a time and the scripture reference through out the pages provide so much comfort and remind me that God is in control and is there with me through this entire process. God bless Tony Cooke for writting this book.
