We live our life from day to day. Time seems to move from one event to the next. But in many ways life is a trip where the events that make up our life. Things we remember and stopping points where we reference other events to. We are born, get married or not, travel from place to place. We order other events using these as reference points.The author, Richard Gold, was born in 1942 in Bartow Florida. Many of the poems in this collect were inspired by events in his formative years and events that have happened since. If we, if he, were wise enough to properly evaluate the events as they happened than he, then we, would have made a better use of the time of the events.
