Max, writes every book like it was just for me at that point in my life. It always amazes me how he explains things in his books that you may have read a hundred times before. But while reading the light bulb comes on. and it is like how did I ever miss that..or what a beautiful way he explains it.

Our home community meets weekly, about 14 people from a variety of religious traditions. We have found this to be very useful, and at a level where all can appreciate. I believe it is a bit light on content, but it is a great guide for discussion. The NKJV and NCV parallel passages are useful. Especially good are the book exceprts that accompany each chapter. An excellent thought provoker.
