My 11 month old LOVES this book. The thick foam makes it easy for chubby fingers to move the pages. There are shapes (square, round, rectangle and oval) that can be lifted out (or bitten into). He can easily play with it for atleast 20-30 minutes at a time (which in baby time is A LOT) and he goes back to it often during the day. Every morning he goes through his play bin and pick this book out. The little amount of words that are in the book suffice, since the shapes (Robbie rectangle, Tina triangle, Ollie oval, etc.) are the MAIN theme of the book.
