Lily Dale was incorporated over 138 years ago by a group called the Free-Thinkers Society of Chautauqua County. They incorporated in Chautauqua County as The Cassadaga Lake Free Association. As Spiritualists began to predominate the membership the name was changed to "City of Light" and eventually the name was changed again to The Lily Dale Assembly.A vortex is a sacred place where the high-vibration energy whirls with intensity in a circular direction.
