Clash, clang, crunch-the merriest procession of robots ever in a chant-along text children which will repeat again and again and again Who would have thunk that a hunk of metal could be so personable?... This description may be from another edition of this product.
We bought this book to appease our 2-year-old son's appetite for all things robot. And it worked! He loves this book with it's fun robot pictures... illustrated in the robotic stylization of bygone days (that is, classic 50's robot representation and very unlike "Rolie, Polie, Olie" who, by the way, doesn't much look like a Robot to me). And we like the shiny bits very much. The rhymes are fun and my son likes to fill in the last word of each couplet. Good book for young robot enthusiasts.
A real techno-treat!

This book's metallic sheen caught our eye on the display shelf of our local library and we have been reading it twice a day, every day since then. Each robot has shiny, irridescent places (similar to the rainbow fish), the rhythmic words are fun to the ear, and it ends with a soothing thought of each robot tucking in for the night. My kids (2 girls ages 3 and 6) crack up when we read the story in our techno-robot voices....a winner all around...
