This book is Amazing.

This book is one of the best inspirational books I have ever read. It was written by my Pastor, although I am not biased about this book, it really was great. This book gives the Lord's advice on matters such as money, parenting, marriage, self-control, trust, and communication. He gives sound advice using the Book of Proverbs. Vernon uses a lot of statistics and personal stories that are great examples and help you remember these things that the Lord is trying to get through to us. This is most definitely recommended by me.

This is a marvelous book. I love the book of Proverbs, and this book contains practical applications from Proverbs for everyday living. Living Life to the Max is an easy read but is loaded with scriptures and, then, personal examples for real people with real lives. Here are the Chapters: Good Decision Making, Sex For The Married couple, Relationships, Marriages That Work, Parenting That Draws Kids to God, Making Your Money Work For You, Talk That Makes Life Wonderful, Managing Anger In An Angry World, Who Do You Trust?, Work, Self-Discipline For The Undisciplined. Within each chapter are relevant scriptures and life examples of subjects such as: Hedges to prevent you from being drawn into adultery; How words can build up -- or destroy; Surrounding yourself with uplifting and honest friends; Handling anger; and Keeping a proper perspective on money. Warren Wiersbe and Bill Hybels recommend this book -- and I do, too. You see, Vernon Armitage has been my pastor for many years. He's a down-to-earth man who actually lives what he preaches and teaches. When you do buy this book, may I suggest a copy for a loved one or someone who is struggling with Life issues? It will be a true blessing to all who read it.
