Great book with a wealth of knowledge for those new to the craft. I love the set up of the book as there's an intro essay on what the sabbat symbolizes and what it means, and how it fits into the year's wheel. There's also great suggestions on how to celebrate and bring symbolism into decorations and foods (with recipes!!) during the different holidays. I'm learning all this on my own so I don't have anyone to pass traditions onto me- if you're in my position, this books a goldmine to help you get started in celebrating the sabbats. I don't think the holidays would have meant as much to me without this book explaining all the various parts of it and why each one is important. I'll definitely buy this book next year to keep learning and also as a kind of "devotional" piece for the holidays!! Great book!!!
