The first waves of Covid 19 inspired my poems and pictures. They start in March 2020 when lockdown was new and startling. After those first weeks came the relief of a partial easing. Then we had further easing - and more lockdowns. Frustration and fear permeated those days before vaccines were developed. But so did hope and new patterns of connection. The poems offer the life-affirming possibilities of facing new times with hope and with love. And always with an ironic sense of the ridiculous.
