Another Solid Entry from LP

Just got back from a week in the Lowcountry, and this book was a very good guide. It is in need of an update, but that is not any reason not to buy it. Also, I like a lot of maps, and it didn't have enough for my tastes, but to be fair I found everything I needed in the free tourist maps available in Visitors Centers. As is the case with most LP guides, it was extremely helpful in planning the trip.

Since 12 years we always buy the Lonely Planet guides for everywhere we travel. We like its format and size, the hotel suggestions and the easy maps pointing out the most important things to see and to do. But we miss fine dining suggestions.
