I have really enjoyed this book and the way it was written. The author gives you history, science, culture, restaurant recommendations, recipes and other local "need to know info" that will be helpful as you mosey around Louisiana looking for good food. I am originally from south Louisiana and would highly recommend this book to anyone visiting or even to someone living in the state.
