In this novel by Gayle Friesen, normal life for Jes is slipping away. Her mother is getting married again and is totally preoccupied with planning the perfect wedding. And if one fool in love is not... This description may be from another edition of this product.
Losing Forever by Gayle Friesen is not a light summer read. Neither is it packed with dramatic emotion. It's the perfect stopping point. This book is about a girl named Jes, who has a very messed up life that she is trying to sort out. Her parents are divorced and now her mother is getting married again and Jes thinks it's too soon. She can't even relieve her problems to her friends, one of them is obsessed over a boy, and the other wants to be more than just friends. Then comes in the stepdaughter and she takes her whole life away from her, leaving Jes no room. Everything about this book was great and I didn't have any dislikes. The author even left the book at a good place, not leaving the reader hanging at the end, like some books occasionally do. I loved the way the author showed the main characters' thoughts, you knew she was making a mistake saying a certain something but you could also see how she could make that mistake from her thoughts. This is a very good read and I recommend it to everyone.

This book is one of the best books I have ever read in my whole entire life. The plot is good, the characters are good, the set is good, everything is good. I seriously think that Gayle Friesen is one of the best authors. Her books are just so real and understanding. And what I think I like best about them is that they are modern, contemporary books, but they're not like "The Princess Diaries" or anything. So, basically, I really like this book and I really think everyone, from young adults to old adults, should read this book. I think you will be satisfied.

My Opinion of Losing Forever

Recently I read the book Losing Forever. It was in the Red Maple Series that came to our school. There were 10 books and by far Losing Forever was the best. I couldn't put it down. This is my opinion from a 13 year old kid and different ages may have different opinions. It is more of a girls book but some boys in my class liked it. I discussed the book with my friends and they also realy enjoyed it. I can't wait to read another book from this Gayle Friesen.

It is a great book. It is slow at first but once you get into it it is really hard to put down. It is a great story about a girl and her relationship with her family and friends. It makes you feel good.
