Dear Cousin- Next month there is going to be a very big carnival here in Delhi. The streets will be lined with flags and flowers. There will be cakes and buns for everyone. Would you like to visit? Take a trip around the world with Little Elephant! He's going from his African home in the Cape of Good Hope to see his cousin Aziz in Delhi, India. But, which way's the right way to get there? Little Elephant isn't sure, but he knows his ancestors made the journey thousands of years ago--and elephants never forget. So, off he treks, through the mountains and the deserts, into the cities and the jungles, across the oceans and the skies of every continent UNTIL. Little Elephant finally arrives at the festival! Each wonderfully colorful and amusing page bursts with detail and a treasure trove of fun facts. Plus there's a map for tracing the entire journey. It's a "geography lesson" kids will love!

A great picture book for 4-8 year olds, the story follows Elephant trying to re-unite with his brother. Elephant's journey takes him to many countries in the world - all brilliantly illustrated by Bristol illustrator Olivia Rayner. My 4-year-old loves elephant, and I couldn't recommend this educational and fun book more highly to others. If you're keen to turn children onto books, this is a good starting point!
