In this delightful mystery for the young, objects keep disappearing at Maurice's house. Not only the usual items like towels and socks are missing, but also odd things like Dad's yellow paint and Mom's pink flowers. Author-Illustrator Bruce Ingman's bright paintings with their occasional collage technique are perfect for hiding clues to the mystery. If your little "Sherlock" doesn't solve the mystery the first time you read it aloud, the ending will still be delightful.
