Lost Property has Found Teenage Hope

A fabulous insight into the busy life of a teenage boy - school, work, girlfriend, friend, music and family life. So many interactive story-lines. Beautifully written, it captures every story-line effortlessly. Josh is torn between his family life and his own opinions about life, love and the search for his older brother, who's absence is tearing his family apart. Josh is a very likable character. Chapters 1 to 27 rang true to life for a 16-17 year old boy, but the ending was a little bit adult, the emotions were a tear jerker, something I couldn't envisage a 16-17 year old boy capturing while reading it and I could see them being disappointed with the ending. For a teenage girl reader, their hearts will pound with a flutter if they assume this is how all teenage boys are. A great read for parent's unsure of the wave length of their teenage kids.
