A young single construction superintendent wins the second largest lottery jackpot in the history of the 7-TOPPS game. Due to the well publicized failures of so many previous winners, the Lottery Commission assigns a professional financial counselor to assist him. His advice is only to spend a very small portion of his winnings, hire experts to invest & manage the remainder & to disappear until the press & leaches have focused on someone else. He comes under attack almost immediately,but his attackers don't realize that he & his best friend & traveling companion are hardened ex-Marine snipers from the war in Afghanistan. As they attempt to stay out of the limelight by constantly traveling, he comes across a young matronly waitress, who's a wannabe singer working at a roadside diner in Nashville, his buddy's home town. Intrigued by her smile, he agrees to meet her at a small nightclub for hopeful singers. When the beautiful "Miss Tiffany Sinclair: is introduced & sings, his heart is lost forever. When he tries to help her career, things turn for the worst & the hill country girl escapes back to her family's farm deep in the hills of Tennessee.
