Lou Fine (1914-1971) is acknowledged as one of the masters of illustration during the Golden Age of comics in the 1940s and early 1950's. His lines and eye for composition have been largely hidden from the modern reader and collector, because many of the original comics in which his work appeared are extremely expensive today, and out of reach of most.
