Strange murders take LA police detective Jace Levy straight into the arms of the renowned photographer, Risha, as seductively beautiful as she is talented. This erotic, dark mystery was the basis for the made-for-TV-movie ?Deadly Love,? starring Susan Dey.
Dark paranormal romance meets hard boiled detective novel

This book to me is a melding of two of my favorite genres- the hardboiled detective meeting the mysterious hungry vampire who only feeds on the unsavory ones who society disdains. The hero reminds me of Michael Connely's tormented Harry Bosch. The ending is satisfying and has a ring of moral redemption while at the same time plunging our hero into the vampiress' darkness. Few romance type books have the female as the vampire- this mystery does a great job of moving the story along and building a tale with compelling and interesting characters. WOuld love to read more like this- how about a sequel?
Love Bite -- Great Book

This is actually a very good book. It's written about a vampire named Rissa that puts an ad in the newspaper "Looking For Love." She's got a very organized way of eating dinner, too. Jace is a good character, as well. I thought it was an amusing book, and definetly worth reading if you're a fan of vampire novels. It's got some original parts. Read the sequel, too.
It was a great book

This book had everything I usually look for in a vampire novel. The main character....Risha Cadigan was a sharp, intelligent lady vampire. Very well written. The author definalty researched the police investigation aspect of the plot. An excellent book.
